The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in corporate leasing, portfolio management, construction, property acquisition and disposition, real estate financing and investment, real estate joint ventures, and/or development and redevelopment.Job Duties:

Handle complex legal matters related to real estate investment and development, including corporate leasing, portfolio management, construction, property acquisition and disposition, real estate financing and investment, and joint ventures.Provide legal counsel and support for development and redevelopment projects, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, reviewing contracts, titles, and other relevant documents.Draft and negotiate agreements, leases, and other legal documents related to real estate investment and development.Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate successful real estate transactions.Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate leasing, portfolio management, construction, property acquisition and disposition, real estate financing and investment, real estate joint ventures, and/or development and redevelopment.Strong academic credentials and a solid background in sophisticated real estate law.Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.Strong work ethic and the desire to work collaboratively with and contribute to the national practice of the firm.Must be licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina.Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the state of North Carolina.Skills:
