The Middlesex Community College Nursing Program seeks to fill various part-time clinical and lab faculty positions. We need faculty members dedicated to excellence and able to work inclusively with students of diverse identities and backgrounds. Courses may include Fundamentals of Nursing, Pediatrics, Gerontology, and/or Medical/Surgical Nursing. Clinical and lab classes may meet on a variety of days, including Saturdays.Duties and Responsibilities:Create an environment in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings that facilitate student learning.Facilitate Learner Development & Socialization: Help students develop as nurses and integrate the values and behaviors expected of those who fulfill that role.Use Assessment & Evaluation Strategies: Use various strategies to assess and evaluate student learning in all settings.Function within the Educational Environment: Align and deliver course content in accordance with program/college/Board of Nursing policies and procedures.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Hold a current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license in good standing.Possess a Master's degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's degree in nursing with necessary qualifications.Possess a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in nursing within the last 5 years.Evidence of clinical competence in clinical instruction.Maintain expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities.Ability to work well with students, faculty, and staff of diverse identities.Preferred Qualifications:Teaching experience in an academic setting.Master's degree in Nursing Education.Additional Information:Salary:

The Adjunct Faculty salary range is determined in accordance with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement.Start Date:
