WESTLAKE WARRIOR | Mid to Late-Stage CollectionsDallas, TX | On-siteJOB HIGHLIGHTS:This is an in-office position. All candidates should live within commutable distance of our Dallas, TX office.COMPENSATION:Base Pay:
$19.00 per hour plus bonus potential of up to $4,458.63 monthly based on individual and team performance.Tiered Retention Bonus:
Receive $500 upon completion of 3 months from the start date.An additional $500 upon completion of 6 months from the start date.
*Incentive:
If the department exceeds its goal, eligible agents in the bonus range will receive a "kicker" ranging from $100.00 to $750.00, based on goal achievement.* All agent incentive opportunities may vary monthly, and are not guaranteed, and are subject to change.
Brief Description:The role of the 60-day collector is a critical position for Westlake Financial to resolve accounts potentially 31 to 60 days past due to prevent loan losses through progressive collection efforts. Our candidate of choice will be able to balance the following skill sets to be successful.DUTIES, TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but not limited to):Good negotiation skills - accomplished through mutual communication between agent and customer to successfully obtain payment.Negotiate with customers to create payment solutions based on individual circumstances.Meet and exceed daily and monthly goals.Initiate outbound calls that are effective in scope, leading to successful payment or timely arrangements to satisfy the account delinquency.Demonstrates ability to be a team player.Collect accounts that are past due.Bring delinquency down in assigned queue and overall delinquency.Conduct skip-tracing activity to generate potential leads on customer or collateral.Handle a high volume of calls in a high-stress environment.Work with repossession agent to secure collateral.Meet quality assurance and productivity standards.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES:Type at least 35 wpm.Willing and able to work a flexible schedule including overtime and weekends.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections, including the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.Good computer and typing skills.Team player.General knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.EDUCATION:High School diploma or equivalent required.EXPERIENCE:2+ years’ experience in a collection environment preferred.Auto Collections experience preferred.Knowledge of collection, repossession, and skip tracing.FULL TIME BENEFITS:Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.Life Insurance and Long-term disability plans.Flexible Spending Account.401K matching.Employee Stock Ownership Program in a $18.2 Billion Company, plus company matching.Wellness Programs.Metro Tap Card and Metro-link Reimbursement (for Los Angeles, CA employees only).Discounts on Parks, Museums, Movie Tickets, and Attractions.Employee Loan Assistance.Annual Flu Shot.Paid Vacation Days.Paid Sick Days.Paid Holidays.Gym (available in our Los Angeles, CA & Dallas, TX office).Rental Car Discounts, Dell Member Purchase Program.UKG Wallet.ABOUT US:Westlake Financial
