Senior Immigration Attorney

A law firm in Fort Worth is seeking a Senior Immigration Attorney to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Associate Attorney, the candidate will manage a caseload and interact with clients, collaborating with an experienced Immigration Team. The role involves representing clients in removal proceedings, preparing immigration applications, and providing strategic immigration advice.Duties:Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration AppealsConduct intakes with detained individuals at centersPrepare and submit diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitionsReview immigration applications and make necessary adjustmentsExplain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions to clientsCollaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on immigration mattersMeet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and develop necessary strategiesPrepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimonyProvide legal analysis to clients regarding case benefitsPrepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration casesUtilize case management software to efficiently manage caseloadRequirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in Texas4+ years of experience in immigration lawExperience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applicationsPreferably bilingual (Spanish)Skills:Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with clients and team membersRecord of moving legal cases forward and managing a diverse caseloadFamiliarity with case management software is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEducation and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in TexasBenefits Offered:Competitive compensation package including a 401(k) planAdditional perks such as catered lunches, complimentary parking, and paid time offProfessional development opportunities and a supportive work environment
