A law firm located in Manchester, NH, is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney with 7+ years of experience in estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration. The ideal candidate should possess a strong academic record, excellent written and oral communication skills, and experience in asset protection planning and charitable giving. Prior experience working directly with high net-worth individuals and families, as well as their advisors, on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, including the transfer of closely-held business interests, is highly desirable.Job Duties:Advise clients on complex estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.Develop tax planning strategies to minimize estate tax liabilities and maximize tax-efficient wealth transfer.Handle trust and estate administration matters, including probate proceedings and trust administration.Assist clients with asset protection planning and charitable giving strategies.Work directly with high net-worth individuals and families, as well as their advisors, to implement tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex trust and estate issues.Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals and objectives.Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm on trust and estate matters.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar in New Hampshire.7+ years of experience in estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration.Strong academic record.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Experience in asset protection planning and charitable giving is a plus.Prior experience working with high net-worth individuals and families on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies preferred.Certifications:Admission to the New Hampshire State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in work.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to trusts and estates.
