Employee Benefits Attorney

A law firm located in Dallas is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Attorney with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience counseling employers on various ERISA and non-ERISA plans and arrangements, including retirement plans and health and welfare plans, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.Duties:Provide counseling to employers on ERISA and non-ERISA plans and arrangements.Draft and review plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and other employee benefits-related materials.Advise clients on compliance issues related to employee benefit plans.Assist clients with plan administration and participant communications.Stay updated on changes in employee benefits laws and regulations.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits law.Strong knowledge of ERISA and non-ERISA plans and arrangements.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the State Bar.Skills:Extensive experience counseling employers on ERISA and non-ERISA plans.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to draft and review complex legal documents.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented and organized.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with health, dental, vision, and other employee benefits plans is preferred.
