Family Law Associate Attorney

A law firm based in Roseland, NJ, is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will support senior attorneys in all aspects of family law and must possess the ability to manage a large caseload. The Family Law Associate Attorney will play a vital role in the firm's family law practice, supporting senior attorneys and managing a diverse caseload of family law matters. They will be responsible for providing legal assistance and guidance to clients navigating various family law issues.Duties:Support senior attorneys in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.Manage a large caseload of family law matters from inception to resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis on family law issues.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to strategize and execute case strategies.Stay updated on changes in family law statutes and case law.Requirements:Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required.4-6 years of experience practicing family law.Strong understanding of family law statutes and procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently and effectively.Strong organizational and time management skills.Empathy and compassion when dealing with clients facing family law issues.
