Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

A law firm in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking a dynamic Bankruptcy Associate Attorney with 0-1 year of experience managing routine bankruptcy matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing pleadings, attending potential hearings, and responding to firm-wide bankruptcy inquiries.Duties:Manage routine bankruptcy matters, including drafting and reviewing pleadings and claims filed in bankruptcy cases.Attend potential hearings and respond to general firm-wide bankruptcy inquiries.Review filings on behalf of clients and monitor all electronic filings (ECFs).Resolve routine bankruptcy matters with attention to detail and professionalism.Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court.Requirements:Law degree (JD) from an accredited law school.License to practice law; license to practice in Georgia preferred.Admitted to District and/or Bankruptcy Courts in Georgia preferred.Skills:Knowledge of bankruptcy rules/laws and general Creditor Rights laws.Computer literacy, including keyboard skills.Professionalism and attention to detail.Time management and effective communication skills.Experience:0-1 years of bankruptcy experience.
