Job Description:

Traveler will automatically be declined.• Only submit traveler who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to:• Prepare and package medications.• Deliver medications to different patient care areas.• Control inventory and cost.• Work with Pharmacy automation and robotics.Minimum Requirements:• Facility Requirements:o Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile).• Experience:o Traveler must have previous Pharmacy Technician experience in inpatient/level 1 trauma facility or similar size hospital setting.o Traveler must have sterile compounding experience - required. Please include when and where traveler has this experience in resume.o Epic experience highly preferred.o Prior traveler experience highly preferred.• Licensure and Certification:o Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician registration is required.o CPT Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.• Education:• High school diploma or equivalent.• Referenceso Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).• Floatingo Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.

Position Urgency:Quick Start

Shifts:40 hours/week. 10 hour shifts. Rotation overnight coverage: 2030 - 0700 including weekend rotation.
