Be part of something remarkableBring your exceptional customer service skills, strong mathematical skills, and critical thinking to UW Health.We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Preparation (Ambulatory Services) to:• Help support our pharmacy services across the entire Madison area.• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patients with their take-home medications in a fast-paced health care environment.• Process claims and help patients navigate complex insurance issues.• Work hands-on with medications of all kinds.Minimum Requirements:• Facility Requirements:o Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile including resume, *** portal, onboarding documents).• Experience:o Traveler must have one year previous Pharmacy Technician experience in retail setting. (Retail experience preferred in the last three years).o Epic experience highly preferred.o Prior traveler experience highly preferred.• Licensure and Certification:o Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician registration is required.o CPT Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.• Education:• High school diploma or equivalent.• Referenceso Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (from supervisor or manager only) for work experience in the last two years.• Floatingo Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract• Work Location:o UW Health Pharmacy Services Building 3185 Deming Way, Middleton, WI 53562 AND floating to other UW Health Clinics in Dane County as needed• Parking:o Free parking at assigned clinics
Position Urgency:Quick Start
Shifts:40 hrs/week, Day shifts, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 8 hour shifts.
