Litigation Of Counsel

A law firm in Atlanta is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Of Counsel with a strong background in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The role involves communication with clients, supervision of associates, collaboration with experts, assistance in fact development and depositions, review and drafting of legal documents, and active involvement in case strategy development.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries.Supervise and mentor associates, providing guidance on litigation matters.Collaborate with experts to strengthen case arguments and strategies.Assist in fact development and participate in depositions.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.Contribute to the development of case strategy and provide insightful legal counsel.Utilize superior research, analytical, and writing skills to enhance legal documentation.Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities effectively.Utilize strong project management skills and meticulous attention to detail.Requirements:Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.J.D. degree from a nationally recognized law school.Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.Direct and applicable experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm.Medical and/or scientific background is a strong preference.Skills:Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.Strong academic background from a nationally recognized school.
