This is a full-time (0.8-1.0) day shift position with evenings and weekends as needed. The Human Resources Director will report directly to the CEO and will collaborate closely with department directors, managers, and supervisors to provide administrative oversight and leadership across all departments in the organization. Responsibilities include leading strategic organizational initiatives and directing the entire People Services function of Community Medical Center and Community Physicians Group, encompassing areas such as Compensation, Benefits Administration, Education, Employment Services, HRIS, and Labor Relations. The Director will also participate as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and act as Administrator on Call (AOC) in a regular rotation with other SLT members.Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.10+ years of human resources experience in a leadership role.2-3 years of Union experience required.Demonstrated success with teambuilding, collaborative work with physicians, project management, and process improvement projects.Proficient in MS Office Suite.Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Effective human relations skills for interfacing with team members, all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families, and other contacts.Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, pressure environment.Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity.Ability to work with limited supervision and be highly motivated to complete tasks timely.Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred.SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.Weekend Requirements
