Under general direction of the Southcoast Region Support Services Administrative Officer I, the incumbent provides administrative and clerical support to Southcoast Region staff. The incumbent independently performs a variety of administrative functions in the areas of accounting, personnel, payroll, travel and special projects. The work involved typically consists of a variety of routine duties that differ in nature. The incumbent is required to adapt internal processes to meet the needs of the position´s unit in multiple administrative functional areas. Duties are well defined, require attention to detail and are completed in compliance with specific guidelines.Who we are looking for:Customer Service:

Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDANDSix months of paid or volunteer work experience that included using computer systems to enter, retrieve, or communicate information and handling cash or performing basic arithmetic calculations.Substitutions:Education from an accredited college or vocational school may substitute for the required experience (3 semester or 4 quarter hours of college education equal one month of experience; 150 hours of vocational education equal one month of experience).A Career Readiness Certificate with ACT WorkKeys scores of skill level 4 or higher in Graphic Literacy, skill level 4 or higher in Applied Math, and skill level 4 or higher in Workplace Documents will substitute for the high school diploma and required experience.At time of interview, applicants are requested to submit:Three (3) professional references, including name, job title, and current phone numbers.A copy of your last three (3) performance evaluations.Copy of academic transcripts (unofficial are okay, please ensure that the institution name/URL is listed on the transcript) if using education to verify that you meet the minimum qualifications.ALASKA RESIDENTS ONLY
