is recruiting for full-time Accounting Technician 1 located in Juneau, Alaska.What You Will Be Doing:Accounting Technicians are valued positions in Children's Services by acting as accounting, budget, or financial management support by the application of established regulations, requirements, procedures, and operations to perform various related duties that use different and unrelated processes, procedures, or methods. This position requires knowledge of the various steps and procedures necessary to perform a range of accounting, budget, or financial management duties related to recurring or standardized transactions.

Minimum Qualifications:One year of clerical work experience maintaining records that included using computer systems and performing basic arithmetic calculations.

Substitutions :Successful completion of a formal vocational education program in accounting or bookkeeping will substitute for the required experience.Post secondary education from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience (3 semester/4 quarter hours equal one month).

A copy of academic transcripts (unofficial are acceptable but must include the institution name/URL on documents provided) if required to meet minimum qualifications.A list of three (3) professional* references including daytime telephone numbers and email address; at least two (2) of these must be from a current or former supervisor.
