The Division of Finance (DOF) Accountant 5 has evolved to more subject matter expert advisor to state agency and internal staff on statewide accounting & budgetary policy, procedures, practices, and business operations. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, standards, and practices (for example, double entry accounting, accrual accounting), including the full accounting cycle and the preparation of work sheets, financial statements, ledgers, and journals.Technical Credibility:

Understands and appropriately applies principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized expertise.Equivalent to those typically gained by: Any combination of preparatory post-secondary education and/or progressively responsible professional level experience in accounting, budgeting, or financial management.Additional Required Information
