Dardenne Presbyterian Church is looking for a Director of Student Ministry to be part of a growing and thriving church in one of the fastest-growing parts of the country. Dardenne Presbyterian Church is in St. Charles County, MO, a suburb of St. Louis. The heartbeat of Dardenne Presbyterian Church is to engage the community while representing Christ. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of a team that can build an innovative and strategic plan to reach teenagers in our community.Responsibilities
Working with the Director of Discipleship and Family Ministry to develop a collaborative strategic plan to engage students and families within both the church and community.Leading programming for middle and high school students.Partnering with the Director of Discipleship and Family Ministry to lead Confirmation.Helping students identify a mentor, ministry, and mission beyond student ministry that they can engage and develop as life-long learners of Christ.Developing volunteers to reach teenagers with the Gospel.Qualifications
Have a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, affirmation of the Holy Bible as God’s Word, historical orthodox beliefs, and biblical character that exudes Christian Witness.Have good relational skills with teens and adults (supervisor, elder, DPC employees, volunteers, parents, etc.), and discernment in safety and protection of students.Have experience working with youth.DPC offers a competitive salary, paid vacation, stipend, retirement plan, and full-time exempt position.
