Join our team at the Medical Center in Knoxville, TN, as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician with Medical Directorship. We offer competitive compensation, commensurate with training and experience.Compensation package may include:- Commencement bonus- Relocation assistance- Student loan assistance- Excellent benefits including health insurance, vacation, holidays, sick leave, professional liability insurance, and CME allowance.The Medical Center is a 401-bed flagship hospital with a 30-bed Rehabilitation unit, primed for a new PM&R physician to grow and expand our program. With the addition of a new endovascular/cerebrovascular neurosurgeon, we anticipate growth in the unit and expansion in our existing Pain Management Program. The hospital will soon break ground on a new replacement facility, slated to open in about three years.Knoxville is nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, along the banks of the Tennessee River. We are home to the main campus of the University of Tennessee, offering access to strong academic programs and Division I SEC sporting events. The area provides extensive outdoor recreation, including water sports, hiking, and biking, along with a wonderful symphony orchestra and art museum. Knoxville boasts an affordable cost of living, with no state income tax, and excellent private and public schools.
