Summary

The System Director-Network, Telecom and Client Support Services is accountable for HSHS's IT network and telecommunication systems as well as the client services for the System. This role is responsible for effective and efficient delivery of all third-party and internally managed IT infrastructure used to support all business processes across the enterprise. Main responsibilities for this role will be to ensure quality, efficiency, and agility goals are achieved in operational and service management processes. Expectation for this role is to serve as both a business leader and a technologist with a vision for how IT can enable productivity and efficiency for the enterprise.

Qualifications

EducationBachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field is required. Associates degree in Information Technology field of study and 3 years of progressively increasing IT leadership experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or Healthcare Administration is preferred.Experience8 years of managing enterprise technical architecture, telecommunications or IT customer service/client support environments in a complex multi-location environment. (This experience level is required in addition to the experience that would be required in lieu of education if colleague does not meet the bachelor’s degree requirement.) 3 years of management/leadership experience is required. Prior experience in a broad set of business processes and IT systems including Telecommunications, network management, client services support, end user device management, and datacenter operations is preferred. Prior experience with a broad set of business processes and IT systems including IP, LAN/WANs, Cisco products and services, Avaya, Mitel, Audio Visual systems, and data center operations is preferred. 3 years of experience with project integration and/or capital budgets is preferred.Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsIT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification is preferred. Certifications in Microsoft Products are preferred. Certifications in wired, wireless, and/or telephony architecture design are preferred.
