The Network and CONNECTivity (CONNECT) organization is a highly agile, fast-paced, dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best in class, most reliable access network for our customers.Job DescriptionThe Network Facility and Energy team operates the company's datacenter environment, sets critical infrastructure standards for the company, has responsibility for the tools roadmap, and plays a lead role in setting the company's Energy strategy as it relates to the 2035 Carbon Neutrality goal.The Executive Director, Critical Infrastructure will lead a cross functional team responsible for datacenter facility operations, engineering & standards, service desk, capacity management, and the tools and processes that support.The role will also be responsible for managing a budget and forecast for datacenter operations, long range planning of our headend and hub site infrastructure, and partnering with our division operational counterparts. The position will have overarching responsibility for reliable uptime of our facilities, planning and deployment of hardware and infrastructure, and energy efficient operations supporting the 2035 Carbon Neutral initiative.Responsibilities and Qualifications10 years in critical infrastructure engineering, datacenter operations or alike experienceStrong technical people leader, capable of managing multiple technical disciplines ranging from electrical and mechanical engineering, software development, and 24/7 operations.Measure what matters - develop KPIs that drive the team to achieving meaningful business valueChampion a culture in support of reliable operations of our critical facilities both in direct operational control (datacenters) and working closely with divisional partners for headend and hubs.Strong process oriented - able to make sense of and document complex processes, gain partnership, and consensus to implement themWorking cross functionally across division operations, ability to drive programs toward standardization of all critical infrastructure operations and engineering.Tools SME - be able to translate business needs into requirements for the development teams for 3 areas: DCIM, EPMS, and IWMS.Familiarity with dcTrack, Foreseer, and Nuvolo systemsStrong understanding of the cable network architecture, and the impacts on critical facility capacityEducationBachelor's Degree preferred, but a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience may be considered.Relevant Work Experience10 YearsSalary:Pay Range: $186,764.62 - $280,146.93This information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role.
