Our bank client is seeking to fill a Chief Operating Officer role in the Houston, TX market. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing written, in-depth credit analysis for commercial loans and inspiring and engaging staff with exceptional leadership skills.This position offers a generous salary of up to $180K and a full benefits package.SVP of Branch/Deposit Operations responsibilities include:Lead the Branch Operations and Operations Support Services functions within the Bank.Collaborate with internal departments to assess, plan, and manage the efficient utilization of financial products and services.Develop, monitor, and execute the organization’s strategic business plan, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and objectives.Direct and monitor branch operations and support staff, through subordinate managers, to ensure they meet and exceed organizational goals and objectives.Collaborate with management on customer/product profitability initiatives and rate stratification.Prepare reports of operations and participate in planning and budgeting processes.Collaborate with product development/enhancement initiatives.Develop branch financial and service delivery performance goals and objectives and monitor results.Control and report branch losses and oversee branch regulatory compliance.Provide mentoring and coaching to support and develop managers and staff.Identify personnel needs within each branch and coordinate with HR for job openings, internal postings, and external ads as needed.Stay abreast of current trends affecting the financial services industry.Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.Who Are You?
