Environmental Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Houston is seeking a Mid-level Environmental Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent client relations, and the ability to manage complex litigation cases in both state and federal court.Duties:Handle environmental litigation matters in state and federal court.Lead all aspects of discovery, including drafting motions and arguing in court.Take and defend depositions of witnesses.Conduct fact and expert discovery to gather evidence for cases.Requirements:Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.3-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on environmental law.Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.Excellent client relations and communication skills.Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of Texas.Skills:Proficiency in environmental law and litigation procedures.Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and motions.Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.Strong research skills to gather evidence and support legal arguments.Experience with courtroom proceedings and deposition techniques.
