Senior Estimator - Glazing/Facade

The CompanyMy client is a well-established glazing manufacturer who supplies and installs façade materials.Boasting over 35 years of experience in the industry.Working across glazing, windows & doors, SFS, cladding, and balustrading.They predominantly work on residential projects ranging up to £15m.The RoleMy client is looking for a proactive Senior Estimator with a strong background in the glazing/fenestration industry to join them in Birmingham.Duties:Assessment of incoming enquiries for suitability and risk.Analysis of any potential technical issues including liaising with relevant consultants, architects, and clients to bring to a successful conclusion.Preparation and submission of subcontract and material enquiries and assessment of incoming quotations for suitability/value.Attend/conduct meetings with clients, architects, and consultants.Carry out full take-off and detailed pricing.Work alongside a team of Senior Estimators & Estimators.Train and mentor Junior Estimators where needed.Minimum Requirements:5 years+ in estimating roles within the glazing/fenestration industry.Working knowledge of aluminium glazing systems.Working Hours:09:00-17:30This is an exciting opportunity to work within a family-run company looking for an outgoing and forward-thinking individual wanting to take on a significant role within the estimating team.
