The VP of Sales will be responsible for directing and developing a sales team to maximize revenue. The person in this role will have direct interaction with senior executives of Fortune 500 companies and must have the proven ability to manage, communicate, and present a complex software product to process industries. This role will also be a member of the Executive Management team and report directly to the company Chief Operating Officer.
Duties:
Further develop and continue to grow the Sales function at the company.Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations.Lead and direct the sales team's efforts while motivating sales and tracking progress.Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and potential while evaluating options and resolving internal priorities.Grow and actively manage the sales pipeline.Carry a sales quota and be responsible for building and managing a book of clients and prospects.Manage CRM execution and further integration into the company sales process.Develop and manage the department budget and participate in the development of the company's operating budget.Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to ensure all materials and communications are effective.Requirements:
