Warranty Administrative Analyst 4

to join our

Sector Warranty Team

at our

Troy Hill

facility located in

Elkridge, MD.

You will support production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment while performing activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.

What You’ll get to Do:

Interface with Program Office, Contracts, Repair Centers, Mission Assurance, Finance and Technical Reps to determine Standard Warranty on equipment defects

Represent the Warranty Organization and develop an understanding of equipment product lines

Interface with other warranty sites

Work independently and provide feedback to Baltimore Warranty Organization

Supports Warranty evaluation request for contracting Programs for warranties (standard/extended)

Exercise additional database systems that have the necessary data to aid in determining decisions for standard Warranty applicability

Experience using various tools to develop queries to collect and analyze manufacturing data to determine warranty decisions

Lead and assist in generating metric reports

Provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with 10 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 8 years of experience

Prior experience processing warranty claims, preparing warranty proposals and validating contracts that support warranty operations that align with contract terms and conditions provide warranty risk mitigation

Working knowledge /experience in DOD /Commercial Depots including Production Builds; in a manufacturing environment

Experience in analyzing build and repair activity to determine action reports

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience determining root cause correct actions for warranty applicability

Experience with electro-mechanical maintenance and repair processes

The ability to interpret DOD and commercial contracts

Prior knowledge navigating SAP and GOLDesp Data to determine warranty applicability

Prior Military or DOD experience

Understanding of contracting terms and conditions in analyzing risk relationships

Familiar with organizational policies and procedures with Authoring and Approval experience

Prior experience leading teams and/or projects

Salary Range:

$104,900 - $157,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
