Medical Oncology Veterinary TechnicianHave you lost a loved pet to cancer and have a heart to help others avoid the same heartache? This team develops strong bonds with our patients and clients, requiring compassion and excellent patient care. Our Medical Oncology technicians will develop excellent venipuncture skills, have high attention to detail and will gain experience in chemotherapy treatments.What you’ll do:
Administration of chemotherapy, requiring excellent venipuncture skillsCoordinate and manage client communication via phone and emailManage appointments, schedule additional appointmentsAccurate and thorough documentation in medical recordsWho you are:
State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferredPrior veterinary experience required, previous oncology experience desiredProficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessaryAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPerks and Benefits include:
