Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor (full time, day shift)

Our Emergency team is the perfect place for technicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can shift gears quickly and handle the stress of critical situations with ease. Every day is different and there’s never the same case twice!What you’ll do:

Escalates issues to Clinical ManagerFunctions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needsPrioritizes and organizes workflows for shiftDirectly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift which includes but is not limited to:Manages early call-ins, early departures, call-offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team membersAssigns team member responsibilities per shiftAddresses process or employee issues during their shiftCommunicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinelyServes as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalationsTrains and mentors new team membersProvides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluationsParticipates in on-call responsibilitiesParticipates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinelyWho you are:

Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desiredState Credentialed Veterinary Technician license requiredProficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessaryAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPerks and Benefits include:
