In this role, you will be responsible for delivering deep analytical insights to drive business success as well as productizing ML models to help drive usage growth and satisfaction of our products. Leveraging our Azure Data suite of products, you will develop these solutions and collaborate closely with product leaders to channel feedback, thus enhancing the overall quality of our offerings.We do not just value differences or different perspectives. Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to problems like text feedback analysis, customer/user segmentation/classification/regression analysis to understand usage trends and drivers of satisfaction.You will design experiments, analyze results and produce actionable, trustworthy conclusions from them.Present findings and recommendations to key decision makers at various management levels.Drive innovation leveraging Gen AI, Data Science and Machine Learning, to experiment with and establish new ways of driving customer engagement by leveraging data – ultimately resulting in usage and satisfaction growth.Provide feedback to the engineering team to identify potential future business opportunities and new product capabilities.Leverage Microsoft tools including Fabric and contribute to the design of major feature enhancements for Fabric. Leverage your experience and perspective to provide critical feedback on the approach with special focus on the Data Science workload and Copilot capabilities.Share knowledge of the industry through conferences, white papers, blog posts, etc. Research and maintain deep knowledge of AI industry trends, technologies, and advances. Actively contribute to the body of thought leadership and intellectual property (IP) best practices.Embody our Culture and Values.Qualifications

Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)OR equivalent experience2+ years of hands-on experience with data science, big data experience and analytics in a business context.Other Requirements

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
