Software Engineering Manager, Charting Engineering , FactSet Research Systems Inc., Norwalk, CT.Manage a team of software engineers or projects within the Research Engineering department. Duties include:Review product requirement documents;Problem solving and working on high-level (operational or architectural) issues to ensure effectiveness of products under direct management;Implement and track development timelines, and negotiate feature sets with development leads and product teams;Set goals and mentor development of ongoing projects;Provide guidance and direction to team on software design and implementation;Review code changes and submissions;Present technical & operational issues to senior management and set deadlines and priorities for team members;Help coordinate recruiting, training and new hire onboarding for immediate team.Basic pay range is one hundred fifteen thousand dollars to one hundred forty five thousand dollars per year for full-time employment (Mon. – Fri. 9-5).
