Ability to Obtain Public TrustGuidehouse seeks a Senior Consultant to take an active role in engagement execution, project management, and key business development activities. This role will partner with a federal-level Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) to establish and operate an Acquisition Program Management Office (A-PMO) to improve OCPO organizational performance and how it supports the needs of Procurement employees, customers, and stakeholders. Our professional staff combines traditional methodologies and best practices with cutting-edge approaches to build solutions supported by technology.As part of our team, the Senior Consultant will play a key role in providing process improvement, policy assessment and development, and governance to the procurement organization. This person will focus on supporting the A-PMO operations by facilitating quality assurance, investment analyses, and stage gate reviews for acquisition packages. Additionally, the Senior Consultant will develop processes, define and track metrics, and protocols to help mitigate potential audits or support audit response activities related to procurements.What You Will Do

Supports activities related to process, policy, and governance in the acquisition lifecycle.Researches opportunities to apply best practices, governance strategies, and policies for procurements throughout the acquisition lifecycle.Leads operations throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including scheduling stage gate reviews for quality assurance, capturing actions items, and meeting minutes, and developing briefing materials.Coordinates with the project manager and clients, including program office teams, including legal, and finance, on strategies to streamline the acquisition process.Reports on metrics and supports data collection, monitoring, and analysis to present efficiency and quality of the acquisition lifecycle.Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.Guides junior staff and works collaboratively with project manager to facilitate state gate reviews and develop meeting materials.Communicates and prepares engaging and dynamic briefings for senior executives.Supports the development and continuous improvement of Guidehouse governance tools.Assists with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.Meets or exceeds targeted billing hours (utilization).What You Will Need

3-5+ years of experience in supporting organizational transformation efforts.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy/Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Proven experience working in federal acquisitions.Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition process.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Ability to navigate complex business environments and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.Ability to write and edit reports, create briefings for senior executives, research and write articles, and customize content for various audiences.Proficient use of the suite of Microsoft Office products.What Would Be Nice To Have

Experience in facilitation.Knowledge of the federal acquisition process.Experience in consulting and business development.The annual salary range for this position is $77,500.00-$155,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.What We Offer
