As a Business Analyst Supporting Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), a Typical Day Will Include:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflowsTranslate requirements into functional specifications for development teams and work closely with Business, developers, testers, Scrum master to ensure successful project deliveryBe involved in identifying areas for process improvement and recommending solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectivenessResponsibilities:Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challengesElicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflowsCollaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needsServe as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teamsPropose innovative and practical solutions to address business challengesEnsure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilitiesCommunicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersPresent findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiencesCreate detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user storiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycleCollaborate with Scrum Master to define project scope, objectives, and deliverablesAssist in project planning, estimation, and resource allocationMonitor project progress and identify potential risks or deviations from the planParticipate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutionsEnsure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high qualityIdentify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancementRecommend process improvements and assist in their implementationSkills:Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related roleStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentationExperience working in Agile environment, familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycleAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsKnowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, Azure DevOps, etc.Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is advantageousScheduled Weekly Hours:
