NVIDIA is seeking a Software Engineer to drive end-to-end improvements of our autonomous vehicle technology and launch a great autonomous driving experience to millions of users around the world! What You Will Be Doing
Drive the top-level product metrics for safety, comfort, and other dimensions of the product, defining sub-categories and slices in order to make them more actionable.Analyze & diagnose the underlying events contributing to these metrics, identify trends, and determine the top priority engineering work for improving the product experience.Implement and/or recommend improvements across features and across the stack, in collaboration with the corresponding component engineering teams.Scale out this iterative development process by developing more automation and leveraging more ops resources.Ensure that the driving quality of the product remains high by making go/no-go decisions on major technical changes, defining the tests/frameworks required to guard against regressions, and identifying/addressing regressions.What We Need To See
BS or a higher degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in a similar or related role.Solid C/C++ programming skills with practical experience working in Linux, using version control systems, and debugging.Well-rounded knowledge of how an autonomous vehicle stack works, and practical experience dealing with the challenges in this area.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive alignment across large organizations.Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
Experience with autonomous vehicle and/or machine learning development.Prior experience with data analysis tools/languages such as SQL.Experience with start-ups and/or early-stage products.If you're passionate about autonomous vehicles, we would love to hear from you!The base salary range is 144,000 USD - 270,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
