We are looking for a

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER, COMMERCIAL

to join our talented team in our rapidly growing company. This newly created role is responsible for the ongoing success of Diamond W’s commercial portfolio, which consists of vinyl, modular carpet, rubber, specialty applications, surface preparation, and more.The Senior Product Manager’s objectives are to protect and grow market share, manage the existing portfolio, and identify new products and segments for growth. S/he will also be responsible for providing well-researched analysis of external factors (markets, competition, industry trends) and internal factors (internal capabilities, product line performance, etc.) as an input for strategic decision making. This position will be based in our City of Industry, CA office with potential for hybrid work, and will report to the Director of Product Management & Marketing.Responsibilities

Defining the product strategy and roadmap by analyzing the market, customer requirements, and competitor benchmarksDriving new product introductions and updates, from ideation to post-launchDetermining and monitoring pricing by utilizing market data, costs, and anticipated volumeOwning the in-stock programDriving the strategy and implementation of marketing efforts for the commercial unitPartnering successfully with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Customer Service teamsOther duties as requiredOccasional travel required for trade shows and vendor meetingsExperience & Education Desired

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business analysis, or related field8+ years of relevant B2B experience in product management in flooring or building materialsDemonstrated success defining, launching, and monitoring products through a strategic processMust be organized and structured, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate the status and resolution effectively and in a timely mannerExcellent listening skills paired with outstanding written and verbal communication skillsStrategic thinker with a high level of aptitude in understanding and processing technical languageAbility to analyze, compare, contrast, and synthesize information efficiently, utilizing information to generate ideas and recommendationsThe discipline to remain focused on long-term strategy amidst short-term pressuresHighly developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to influence cross-functional teamsAble to successfully work with internal and external resourcesExceptional project management skills, PMP certification preferredAdvanced skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointYour skills we value
