Through Nash’s delivery orchestration platform, businesses can manage their deliveries through a single integration, handle any workflow with ease, and scale their delivery operations effortlessly.Nash was founded in 2021 by a team from Palantir and MIT, and has currently raised from top investors including Y-Combinator to build the world’s best local delivery platform.About The RoleAs Accounting and Finance Director, you will be Nash’s first full-time hire on the Accounting and Finance team and play a critical role in scaling the financial aspect of our business. You will be key to ensuring the appropriate financial systems and infrastructure are in place to scale rapidly domestically and internationally.You will manage the accounting and finance function, build it out internally as we scale, and coordinate our supporting external resources. You'll also be responsible for monthly and quarterly accounting close processes, financial reporting, and ad hoc analyses for internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will help identify ways to streamline and scale accounting and finance processes and set up robust systems for future audit requirements.ResponsibilitiesManage outsourced accounting firms in the US and InternationalOversee future insourcing of accounting and financial statement preparationPrepare monthly reporting package including discussion of key trends in the businessSupport cash management and building best practices with collectionsAssist with automating invoicing and work with engineering and FinOps to streamline billingImplement sales tax calculation, reporting, invoicing, and embedding into the Nash PlatformSupport establishing our FP&A processes to aid in decision making, including future fundraisingOversee calculation and payment of sales commissions for the sales teamSupport efforts to automate contracting for new and existing customersManage payrollAssist in quarterly Board of Directors Presentations and Reporting PackagesSupport budgeting and operating plan preparationAd hoc analyses and reconciliationsLead a future auditImplement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.Requirements5+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting and venture-backed companies (Series A / B / C / D) in the marketplace or SaaS verticalsExperience working with Quickbooks and Netsuite and ERP IntegrationsAdvanced Excel and Google Suite skillsGreat knowledge of GAAP, particularly ASC 606Experience preparing and going through AuditsExperience with international growth and consolidationStrong work ethic, hands-on and not afraid to dive into the detailsYou bring a “systems” mindset to your job.
