An Administrative Analyst II conducts management studies and analyses to design, revise or improve systems and regulations in order to meet the various goals and objectives of a department or program. Work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities.Incumbents receive general supervision from a technical superior. Employees work a conventional work week. Work is performed primarily in an office setting where there are no uncomfortable conditions. Work requires minimal physical exertion.SELECTION PROCESS

Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.ANDEXPERIENCE:

Have three years of experience in workflow analysis, procedures manual writing, operational analysis, or legislative policy analysis.ORNOTES (EQUIVALENCIES):

Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, & CERTIFICATIONS:

Have a valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license or an equivalent out-of-state driver's license acceptable to the Office of Risk Management may be required.Required Knowledges, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of research principles of methods and techniques of data processing.Knowledge of mathematical modeling and economic simulation.Knowledge of program evaluation and cost and productivity analysis.Ability to develop, monitor and evaluate programs to measure performance.Ability to make cost estimates.Ability to review and analyze legislation, laws and statutes in order to determine their impact on program goals, policies and activities.Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with agency personnel and City, State and Federal officials.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Ability to compile statistical reports.EXAMINATION PROCESS
