The role will be responsible for the day-to-day Financial Accounting activities for the Acumed Iberica and Acumed of Germany legal entities, providing direct support to the Financial Controller, ensuring compliance and integrity.Role typically requires at least 5 years of experience.
Advanced English - written and spoken is required.Responsible for Accounts PayableBanking responsibilities: payment preparation and reconciliationFixed Assets booking and controlMonthly Accrual preparationsGL accounts Monthly reconciliationsTravel expenses verification from an accounting and company compliance point of viewTax Forms submission ensuring compliance with the local Tax authority requirementsSG&A monthly expenses controlSupport month-end close processes, ensuring the completeness of accounting recordsMonthly payroll validation and controlExternal audit support on the Annual Audit requirementsFlagging and notification/escalation of unusual and/or high transactionsAd-hoc reporting generationLiaise with external German AccountantsProvide to the external accounts all transactions to be booked on a monthly basis (invoices, stock variances, etc.)Monitor daily cash position and manage Bank accountTrial Balance Submission for corporate consolidationSupervise Monthly Financial Statements ensuring accuracy and complianceResponsible for the Monthly Reporting to corporateFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
