This includes providing guidance on legal rights and obligations in business, dealing with complex matters such as mergers, acquisitions, patents, liability, and contracts. This role is perfect for a professional who thrives in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment and is looking to take their career to the next level.Why join us?Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceJob Details:Responsibilities:Providing expert legal advice to the company on a variety of corporate legal issues.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.Assisting in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.Advising on corporate governance and compliance matters, including potential risks and liabilities.Managing corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and coordinating with external legal counsel as required.Representing the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.Keeping abreast of changes in laws that affect the company, and providing updates and recommendations to senior management.Providing training to the company on legal topics.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, business law, contract law, or a related field.Admission to the Minnesota state bar.Proven experience as a legal counsel in a business environment.Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal projects.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.Interested in hearing more?
