We are currently seeking to fill a Property Accountant position within our small team of professionals in our DTLA office. This position requires 3+ years of corporate and/or property accounting experience. The Property Accountant will be responsible for working closely with our Property Management team for property accounting responsibilities on Commercial and Industrial buildings and will report directly to the Controller of the company.
Key duties and qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Prepare journal entriesPerform bank and account reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basisPerform monthly credit card reconciliationManage month-end accounting processManage expenses, receivables, and inter-company reimbursementsAnalyze financial statementsPrepare and send annual 1099sAssist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for company investmentsAssist with the preparation of the budgetAssist with audit and tax requestsAssist with CAM reconciliationManage vendor recordsProcess payment to vendorsAssist with property accounting responsibilitiesAssist with ad-hoc requestsWork on special projects and complete other duties when required
Key Qualifications Include:
Minimum of three years of professional experience in corporate or property accounting capacityBachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalentExpertise in Yardi requiredFast learnerMust be very organized and exhibit a professional and personable attitudeTeam-oriented and entrepreneurial with the ability to work well under pressure
