Job Description

The Product Manager 2 is a key member of the Nordstrom Supply Chain Product Management team, responsible for establishing and executing against a strategic capability roadmap within the Transportation space. This role plays a critical function that ensures Nordstrom’s transportation data contains and is transmitted in a way that enables optimal business function and insights.The Product Manager will develop a strategic roadmap, in partnership with executive leadership and cross-functional teams and execute against it. To accomplish that, the product manager will plan the product roadmap and prioritize the applicable technology backlog, lead product discovery, and measure and communicate results of the feature portfolio in production, all while ensuring stakeholder and strategic alignment.A day in the life…Measure and monitor key KPI performance for product epics and specific featuresDevelop improvement plans for key KPI degradationLeverage internal KPI’s to identify feature opportunitiesPrioritize features and develop quarterly priorities and annual backlogEstablish and execute on tactical plans for delivery of key workstreams supporting the strategic roadmapAssess feature/strategy value and success metrics in partnership with finance and business teamsPartner with UX, Research, and Engineering on feature designWork with engineering during feature development to ensure feature objectives are maintainedSupport tactical prioritization and ensure alignment across business and technical stakeholdersSupport requirements definition inclusive of wireframes, process flows, user stories, and other supporting artifactsDevelop a/b testing plan with analytics as neededContribute and execute on go to market strategy inclusive of UAT, Communication Strategy, Change Management Strategy, and post go live validationsSupport ongoing system health and performance by supporting key incident triage and ongoing health and maintenance initiativesYou own this if you have…Ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunitiesBasic technical background and understanding of software development principles, including Agile development, and testing methodologiesStrong attention to detailAbility to thrive in ambiguityAbility to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams from areas such as Analytics, Engineering and User ExperienceStrong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including presenting to various levels within a matrixed organizationWe’ve got you covered…Our employees are our most important asset and that’s reflected in our benefits. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.Washington: $103,000 - $188,500 Annually. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
