Sr. Reinsurance Accountant

to join our Berkley Re America team! You will handle reinsurance accounting responsibilities, Facultative and Treaty. We offer 4 days in the office, 1 day remote.Key functions include but are not limited to:

Review, analyze and process assumed premium and loss transactionsReview reporting and settlement in conjunction with the terms of the contractApply cash and manage recoverableHandle all inquiries for assigned accountsCommunicate with Claims and Underwriting Departments to ensure accurate reporting of dataEffectively utilize imaging systemMinimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceReinsurance accounting operations experience, Facultative and TreatyUnderstanding of reinsurance accounting business cycleComfortable reading and interpreting contractsAbility to operate independently with limited supervisionAdvanced Excel skills (Pivots tables, data relationships, etc.)Familiar with document imaging systems
