We have an opportunity for a
Sr. Reinsurance Accountant
to join our Berkley Re America team! You will handle reinsurance accounting responsibilities, Facultative and Treaty. Support the Reinsurance Accounting Unit by striving for and achieving consistent results for goals established by the Department Manager.

Key Functions Include But Are Not Limited To
Review, analyze and process assumed premium and loss transactionsReview reporting and settlement in conjunction with the terms of the contractApply cash and manage recoverableHandle all inquiries for assigned accountsCommunicate with Claims and Underwriting Departments to ensure accurate reporting of dataEffectively utilize imaging systemQualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceReinsurance accounting operations experience, Facultative and TreatyUnderstanding of reinsurance accounting business cycleComfortable reading and interpreting contractsAbility to operate independently with limited supervisionAdvanced Excel skills (Pivots tables, data relationships, etc.)Familiar with document imaging systemsAdditional Company Details
