Accountant

with General Ledger experience for our Restaurant Group. Our clients include management, restaurant professionals, and others. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping and accrual accounting knowledge as well as effective communication skills to interact with clients.Responsibilities:Experience preparing and filing sales tax returns, 8027s, 571Ls, 1099s, and other related documents.Experience setting up new clients - COA, financial statement formatting, workpapers.Experience setting up multiple client locations simultaneously is a plus.Experience setting up prepaid, accrual, loans, and amortization schedules.Strong background in bookkeeping and accrual accounting.Ability to learn modern technology with minimal training.Ability to implement new pieces of technology to streamline bookkeeping tasks and the production of financial statements.Ability to interface with clients.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.In-house bookkeeping from client records in QuickBooks, reconcile accounts, and provide monthly or quarterly balance sheet and profit and loss statements to clients.Effective communication skills.Good organizational skills.Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.Detail-oriented.Qualifications:Experience with any of the following software is a plus: CCHE, Plate IQ, QBOL, Sage Intacct, Compeat Radar-Ctuit, Transaction Pro.Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.NO CPA
