Badger Meter is looking to hire a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at our Global Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. This role is Hybrid, requiring 3 days on-site.The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist provides a consultative partnership with hiring teams to creatively source, recruit and hire top-tier talent. In this position you will create strategies and drive actions that source, assess, and select senior level talent for job requisitions across our US locations. Our talent priorities span multiple engineering disciplines, sales/marketing, project management, corporate functions, and all levels of manufacturing operations. This role provides input on all Talent Acquisitions processes, and will serve as a subject matter expert providing advice and guidance to hiring managers. The Talent Acquisition Team at Badger Meter is a team of 5, allowing for a lot of variety and collaboration in this role.Essential Job Duties:Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand the team's talent priorities, requirements, and scope of open positions.Design and implement overall recruiting strategy for each requisition using your understanding of employment markets, competitors, adjacent industries, and career paths.Identify passive candidates using a variety of strategies including social media, career sites, networks, and professional sites.Schedule and perform pre-screening calls to assess applicant’s ability, relevant knowledge, work experience and organizational fit.Identify and promote what makes Badger Meter attractive to candidates, highlighting key differentiators of our employee value proposition.Compose job offer letters and extend offers to candidates.Lead talent acquisition projects on a regular basis (employer branding, candidate experience, hiring processes, etc.).Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience and effective communication throughout the recruitment process.Maintain solid industry awareness in terms of hiring trends, competitive landscape, and recruiting challenges in order to provide solutions.May mentor other staff on the team.Represent Badger Meter in the community, including local job/career fairs and workforce development events.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree Preferred5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience requiredKnowledge of sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)Ability to assess and match applicant experience, competence, and motivation with job requirements and cultural fitExperience creating and implementing unique sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions.Strong experience with advising and consulting throughout the entire TA life cycle.Competitive Total Rewards at Badger Meter:Competitive PayAnnual BonusEligible for Annual Pay IncreasesComprehensive Health, Vision, and Dental Coverage15 days Paid Time Off + 11 Paid HolidaysTwo Ways to Save for Retirement: Badger Meter contributes 25 cents for every dollar you contribute to the plan, up to 7% of your eligible compensation.
