The Director of Product Management will be an outstanding product leader with a track record of successfully leading a large product group or product area in a business. This includes strategy, planning, and execution, as well as recruiting, motivating, and inspiring top product talent. You will provide direction and put the necessary people and processes in place to ensure sound decisions are made, and collaborate very closely with the Head of Product.Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed, diverse product teamSet strategy, create clarity, and provide guidance on priorities with multiple different time horizonsEnsure amazing execution and customer/commercial outcomes for your teams and responsibilitiesDrive not just product delivery but also successful commercialization of all productsServe as a player/coach when necessary, and collaborate across product teamsStart with a small team and help us grow and build, laying the infrastructure and expectations for future expansionOversee the development, implementation and execution of multiple projects, ensuring scope and schedule are established for projectsWork cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, DevOps and DevEx to ship next-generation productsDetermine OKRs, project planning, timelines, and resource requirements to accomplish projectsCreate and implement process and organizational improvements which enhance overall effectivenessManage, inspire, and improve morale, retention, culture, and performanceMinimum Qualifications
Ability to lead and develop product teamsAbility to be an inspirational leader for our customers and product development teamsExcellent communicator, for both internal and external audiences10+ years of combined product management experience; ideally starting as an individual contributor, then transitioning to senior management rolesExperience scaling product teams at a fast-growing startupStrong sense of personal and team accountability, customer dedication, and integrity demonstrated through reliable executionLocation
