Merchant Financing Product Manager - Global Payment

With a suite of more than a dozen products, including TikTok and Helo as well as platforms specific to the China market, including Toutiao, Douyin, and Xigua, ByteDance has made it easier and more fun for people to connect with, consume, and create content.AboutThe Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and refine our merchant financing vision, strategy, and product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as legal, compliance finance, engineering, design, marketing, and business.Collaborate with partners to design, launch, refine and integrate merchant financing products onto our payment platform and the broader TikTok seller ecosystem, ensuring seamless user experience and adherence to regulatory standards.Collaborate with customer support and operations teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues related to merchant financing services.Manage the end-to-end process of product flow, from onboarding new customers to resolving any disputes or issues that may arise.Stay up-to-date on industry standards, competitive landscape, regulations, and best practices related to merchant financing solutions.Work closely with our analytics team to develop reports, KPIs, and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement.Analyze domestic and global market trends, customer behavior, and data to identify and prioritize opportunities for innovation, growth and optimization.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, economics, computer science, or a related field.Proven experience with end-to-end product management processes, within the seller lending, payments, loan, finance, FinTech, or eCommerce space.Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and departments.Preferred QualificationsMinimum 5 years relevant work experience from a large-scale internet business.Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering results.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguities, competing priorities and tight deadlines.ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
