Applications will continue to be accepted until this date, but those received after the review date will only be considered if the position has not yet been filled.Position descriptionThe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for an ongoing pool of lecturers who may be appointed to teach Electrical and Computer Engineering courses. Course topics include, but are not limited to, all areas of electrical and computer engineering: communications, signal and image processing; electromagnetism and remote sensing; photonics and electronics; VLSI, nanotechnology, power electronics, renewable energy and adaptive optics, robotics and assistive technology, controls and cyber physical systems. It is expected that course instruction will be conducted in-person.Outstanding candidates with experience to teach courses in one or more of the above areas are encouraged to apply. The campus is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching and other assigned duties. Appointments are temporary positions with end dates and generally made one quarter at a time, based on the changing curricular needs of the department.Internal candidates will be given priority consideration.QualificationsBasic qualifications
