We are a team of passionate people motivated by agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.The Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages for the US legal entities. The Accountant will also lead the month-end close process to ensure that deadlines are adhered to, analyses are completed, and financial results are communicated in a timely manner.In addition, the Accountant will play a highly visible role as a liaison to key internal and external stakeholders, as well as leading process improvement initiatives to continuously build an efficient and best-in-class accounting organization.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the end-to-end month-end accounting process for US entities, ensuring close deadlines are met.Perform analysis of financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the US reporting package.Ensure financial controls are operational and documented across the US entities.Prepare the local statutory accounts and ensure they are filed in accordance with regional deadlines.Lead the local audits for the US entities and contribute to the Group audit and regulatory and tax compliance matters.Analyze and interpret business information to identify high-level trends and issues.Review existing processes and actively challenge the status quo, providing proposals for process/systems improvement that will positively impact the business.Assist in complex accounting matters as required.Stay current on newly issued accounting standards and assist in the preparation of accounting policies and procedures for newly adopted accounting standards.Develop effective working relationships with internal and external auditors, managing their expectations and time to create an efficient audit review process.Assist in the implementation of various process improvements and automations.Education, Experience And Skills4+ years of accounting experience with B.S. and master’s degrees in accounting, finance, or economics.Active accounting qualification is required.“Big 4” or national accounting firm experience preferred.Working knowledge in NetSuite and Blackline is preferred.Experience in a Software-as-a-Service company is preferred.Demonstrate both the ability and motivation to work collaboratively in a team environment, across regions and functions, as well as working independently with minimal oversight.Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, multi-location environment.Base compensation for this role is: $77,700.00 - $98,300.00 annual salary. In addition to the base pay, this position includes a variable compensation. The role might also be potentially eligible for long-term incentive. The final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including candidate profile and ideal qualifications as well as specific cost of living circumstances in some specific locations.Comprehensive benefits package may be found here:
