We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented E-commerce Marketplace Operations Manager to oversee various aspects of our online business operations, including inventory management, logistics, tax compliance, financial operations, intellectual property protection, and advertising. This role is crucial in ensuring our e-commerce operations run efficiently and effectively across multiple international marketplaces.Responsibilities
Inventory Management and Logistics:
Oversee FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) inventory management and forecasting to optimize stock levels.Manage intentional logistics and supply chain operations with a focus on EU, Asia, and the Middle East markets.Stay updated on tax regulations, with a particular emphasis on Amazon logistics metrics and compliance.Efficiently handle returns and RMA's for international marketplace accounts.Utilize knowledge of Seller Central points to streamline operations.Marketplace Management
Manage product listings across various marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.Monitor performance metrics and optimize content to enhance product visibility and sales.Implement pricing strategies, adjust pricing to maximize profitability, and keep an eye on competitors.Stay informed about Amazon policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.Maintain accurate inventory levels across all Amazon marketplaces and coordinate with warehouses for efficient order fulfillment.Monitor inventory turnover and implement strategies to minimize overstock and stockouts.Forecasting And Demand Planning
Analyze historical sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align forecasts with promotional activities and new product launches.Financial Operations And Tax Compliance
Manage financial transactions, including payments, refunds, and settlements on platforms.Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.Coordinate with accounting to ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements in different international markets.Collaborate with tax advisors to develop tax strategies optimizing global operations.Financial Relationships And Insurance
Manage relationships with financial institutions, including loans and credit card providers.Monitor payment processing, resolve issues, and optimize payment methods for cost-efficiency.Manage the trademark portfolio, including registrations and renewals, to protect intellectual property.Respond to trademark infringement issues and take necessary actions to safeguard brand integrity.Evaluate and manage liability insurance coverage to protect the company against potential risks and liabilities.Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure appropriate coverage is maintained.PPC Advertising
Develop and execute PPC advertising campaigns to drive targeted traffic and increase sales.Analyze campaign performance, optimize keywords, and adjust bids to achieve optimal ROI.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience in e-commerce marketplace operations, preferably within Amazon.Strong understanding of FBA, logistics, tax regulations, and international e-commerce.Familiarity with inventory management, financial operations, and PPC advertising.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Benefits
