Hourly pay: $50/hrWorksite: Leading digital streaming network (Los Angeles, CA 90038 - Hybrid, onsite Wednesdays and Thursdays)W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL40 hours/week, 5 Month AssignmentFinancial Analyst - Physical Licensing Responsibilities
Review and analyze license agreements (interprets contractual terms; establishes revenue recognition requirements; establishes billing and payment terms).Approve and process statements to be sent to customers.Perform detailed analysis and research for reconciliation of accounts.Prepare monthly reporting (A/R Aging, Bad Debt, P&L, etc.).Handle customer queries and royalty summaries.Review receivables for past due balances and communicate with customers for resolution.Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.Apply cash receipts to A/R sub-ledger by customer account.Set up contracts within Media Maestro.Make adjustments to revenue models and promotions as required.Financial Analyst - Physical Licensing Qualifications
5+ years related experience preferred.Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.Experience with financial analysis, US GAAP, and IFRS.Experience in month-end close and reporting preferred.Experience in the entertainment industry preferred.Experience with Media Maestro and SAP is preferred.Advance proficiency MS Office (specifically Excel).Strong analytical and organizational skills.Self-starter with the ability to proactively identify issues and propose resolutions.Excellent written & oral communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
