As a senior member of the software engineering team, you’ll be responsible for expanding and evolving the industry’s leading Back Office solutions. You will be hands on and enjoy creating new products in an Agile environment.About Your Days At NCR Aloha Smart Manager…Design and implement new product features and implement modifications to product features to include technical documentation.Build and execute unit tests for new or modified application code.Work with Customer Care team members to resolve problems with released software.Exhibit personal commitment to quality, best practices, and security.Participate in scrum ceremonies: daily scrums, sprint planning, story estimates and retrospectives.Drive issues to effective resolution and find solutions to challenging, time-critical problems.Mentor team members and conduct code and test reviews.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.4+ years of experience in software architecture, design, and development.Proficient in agile processes and methods, particularly Scrum.Experience building loosely coupled software components and services that are scalable, high quality, and extensible.Strong understanding of OOP principles (C++, C#, Java or equivalent) and Relational Database experience.Proficiency in automated unit test development practices and design methodologies.Applications, Database and SQL performance tuning experience.Data modeling concepts and best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must have development experience with on premise distributed software systems.Preferred QualificationsPoint of Sale, Hospitality/Retail, eCommerce, or payment processing applications.eCommerce and Digital marketing software.High volume, high availability solutions.PCI compliance, secure development, and data encryption techniques.Implementing solutions in native Public Cloud.Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.Full time employee benefits include:Medical Insurance.Dental Insurance.Life Insurance.Vision Insurance.Short/Long Term Disability.Paid Vacation.401k.EEO StatementIntegrated into our shared values is NCR's commitment to diversity and equal employment opportunity.
