Our work depends on Financial Analyst Advisor joining our team to provide finance, accounting, and procurement management for a Government Agency with a vital national mission.How a Financial Analyst Advisor Will Make An Impact:Performs financial analysis and reporting in order to monitor finances associated with business operations.Interface with the finance team and operational leadership to forecast and oversee the financial health of a large and critical Government program.Work with operational leadership to resolve challenges and contribute to financial and strategic decision making.Join a dynamic team of finance and accounting professionals that oversee a diverse portfolio of programs.Help customers and GDIT meet crucial goals through analyses that ensure the health of our programs.Utilize financial acumen along with Excel-based tools and models, Microsoft Office, Oracle Financials, Sharepoint, and Tableau to perform analysis and deliver insight and value to internal and external customers.What You’ll Need To Succeed:Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (Business/Finance or related field is preferred).Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience.Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, graphing); Forecasting skills with the ability to understand the impact of business decisions on P&L; Experience working with project management for budget development, project planning, and supporting financial activities.Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/ POLY.Required Skills and Abilities: Detailed oriented with strong analytical skills; Advanced forecasting skills with the ability to provide analysis to business leaders.Preferred Skills: Familiarity with accounting and revenue recognition methods; Experience with Oracle Financials and Tableau.Location: Hybrid to the Annapolis Junction, MD office.US Citizenship Required.GDIT Is Your Place:Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home.401K with company match.Comprehensive health and wellness packages.Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career.Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications.Cutting-edge technology you can learn from.Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
